    Abstract: 本篇論文以不對稱 pyrazole 結構為中心之液晶分子。所有化合物經由1H-NMR、13C-NMR、Mass與元素分析以鑑定其結構及純度,液晶相性質則是利用偏光顯微鏡(POM)來觀測相種類及熱微差掃描分析儀(DSC)測量相變化時之溫度與熱焓值,最後以變溫粉末X光繞射儀(XRD)確認相的種類。 配位基2a和2b為 Smectic 相,而錯合物1c則為盤狀液晶分子Colho 相,可藉由變溫 powder X-ray 以及單晶數據推測液晶相時分子的排列情形。並且由變溫 FT-IR 發現分子間氫鍵對於液晶相的形成是非常重要。 另外,鋁錯合物會形成 SmA 液晶相。由單晶數據,錯合物以六個配位基配位與兩個鋁原子形成筒狀型分子,它是第一個被發現鋁錯合物為液晶分子的錯合物。 In this thesis, we report the synthesis, characterization and mesomorphic properties of new mesogenic derivatives based on pyrazole structures. All compounds were characterized by 1H, 13C-NMR spectroscopy and elemental analysis. The phase behaviors of these mesogenic compounds were characterized and studied by differential scanning calorimeter (DSC) and polarization optical microscope(POM). Ligand 2a and 2b exhibited Smectic phase, but the complex 1c exhibited Colho phase. We can use powder X-ray and single crystal to assume the arrangement of liquid crystal. Ligands exist intermolecular hydrogen bonding by characterization of FT-IR. We find intermolecular hydrogen bonding is very important for the formaton of liquid crystal. In addition, aluminum complex exhibited SmA phase. From single crystal date, the complex is six ligand coordinate to two aluminum atoms. It is the first discovery of the aluminum complex with liquid crystalline.
