    Abstract: 本論文利用中溫水熱法合成一系列等結構且含有乙二醇及方形酸配位基之稀土金屬元素配位聚合物:RE(C4O4)1.5(C2H6O2) (RE = Y (1), La (2), Ce (3), Pr (4), Nd (5), Sm (6), Eu (7), Gd (8), Tb (9), Dy (10), Ho (11), Er (12), Tm (13), Yb (14), Lu (15)),簡稱為RESqEg。此系列化合物藉由單晶X-ray繞射儀定出正確結構,並以粉末X-ray繞射儀確定樣品之純度後再進行相關物理性質之量測。搭配元素分析、熱重分析、固態核磁共振、吸收光譜、超導量子干涉磁量儀與螢光光譜等方法,進行其結構組成及相關物理性質之研究。 RE(C4O4)1.5(C2H6O2)中,每個RE3+陽離子與六個方形酸(C4O42-)陰離子以unidentate的形式產生鍵結,並與另一個單獨存在的中性乙二醇配位基以bidentate的形式進行配位;且每個C4O42-陰離子與四個RE3+陽離子配位,進而在空間中連接形成一個無限延伸的三維骨架配位聚合物,而金屬氧多面體(REO8)在空間中之排列則是與簡單立方堆積形式相近。RE(C4O4)1.5(C2H6O2)除了具有新穎的結構外,也是目前文獻上第一個同時以方形酸及中性乙二醇作為配位基的有機-無機複合物。 Fifteen isostructural rare earth metal 1,2-ethanediolato-squarates with the formula RE(C4O4)1.5(C2H4O2) (RE = Y, La-Nd, Sm-Lu) have been synthesized under hydrothermal conditions and structurally characterized by single-crystal and powder X-ray diffraction, 13C CPMAS NMR, absorption spectroscopy, and magnetic susceptibility. A variable-temperature in situ powder X-ray diffraction study on the Ce compound was also performed to determine its thermal stability. Each RE3+ cation in the structure is bonded to six unidentate squarate anions and one neutral ethylene glycol chelate, and each C4O42- anion coordinates to four RE3+ cations such that a new 3-D framework is formed. They are the first examples of organic-inorganic hybrids which contain both squarate and ethylene glycol ligands.
