研究期間:10302~10312;The success of radioactive waste disposal requires comprehensive safety assessment techniques to evaluate the risk related to facility construction and operation. Technical guidelines for reviewing the report of safety assessment are accordingly critical from regulation view point. The Review Guidelines on Safety Assessment of Low-Level Waste Disposal Repository (0 version draft) was completed by the Fuel Cycle and Materials Administration (FCMA) in 2011. To improve the regulation technique of safety assessment, previous studies provided modifications aiming at chapters related to site characterization and facility design. Recommendations for amendment of the Guidelines on Safety Assessment of Low-Level Waste Disposal Repository (0 version draft) are proposed. In addition, the existing models for radiological dose assessment and safety assessment were careful evaluate. Based on the results of previous study, this study focus on the topics related to site characterization, facility design, radiological dose and safety assessment, and tunnel stability monitoring. Modifications of the Guidelines on Safety Assessment of Low-Level Waste Disposal Repository (0 version draft) will be proposed accordingly for reference to the regulatory authorities. An expert committee will be organized and this committee will review these modifications.
