    摘要: 本論文藉由分子設計、化學合成與結構上的確定,成功地合成出數個新穎多叉型的雙光子吸收材料並探討其線性及非線性光學性質。 在線性光學量測部分上,我們藉由量測模型分子的吸收、發射光譜得知其最大吸收、最大發射波長及其量子產率。在非線性光學量測部分上,我們以鈦:藍寶石的飛秒雷射作為光源,量測了模型分子雙光子激發之螢光與激發光源強度間的關係以及雙光子激發光譜。實驗的數據顯示了以790nm的雷射光激發模型分子所產生的螢光,確實為模型分子經由雙光子吸收機制後所產生的。最後,我們在奈秒時域檢測模型分子的限幅效應並由實驗結果得知在本論文所探討的模型分子中有一些模型分子具有不錯的光學功率限幅性質,可望在光學功率限幅的應用上有不錯的潛力。 Two series of dendritic(starburst) type chromophores with various aromatic π-bridge, π-linkages and central cores were synthesized and their non-linear absorption properties were investigated in the femto- second and nanosecond regime. The experimental results show that these chromophores posses strong two-photon absorption covering different spectral region. It is also found that the electronic properties of the π-bridge、π-linkages and central core plays crucial roles for the molecular two-photon absorptivity. Model chromophores with tri-substituted olefinic scaffold exhibit superior two-photon activities and was found to be suitable for two-photon-excited-fluorescence-related applications while the model compounds with nitrogen atoms at remification points were revealed to be effective two-photon absorber at shorter wavelength region and could be utilized for broad-band optical limiter especially in nanosecond time domain.
