Moiré 方法具有非接觸性、非破壞性的特點,而且成本低。同時使用數位影像處理的技巧來達成 Moiré 條紋分析計算的目的。光學量測系統不但量測快,而且處理速度高,量測設備可靠性大、操作十分安定。本文利用此一特點在肌肉震動方面研究疼痛與身體的對稱。期望此一科學方法,日後會成為未來的醫療量測上一項可靠且方便的工具。 疼痛是一種刺激且尖銳的感覺,並且會引發身體上的抽動反應。我們測量動物的肌肉震動變化及利用影像分析來測量肌肉的抽動頻率,進而將疼痛反應以數據量化表示。在人體對稱性方面之研究,以往我們只能以肉眼觀察人體左右肌肉的對稱性,結果往往是很主觀的,我們利用 Moiré 方法有如地圖等高線的特性測量人體左右臀部肌肉的面積大小,並以數據表示比照其對稱性,使其可以應用在醫學方面。 Moiré has untouchable , not destructive characteristics, and with low costs.
