;In 2010, Chongqing government began to implement policy investment-invitation to the world’s largest Notebook Computer and supporting industry group, which located in the Yangtze River Delta Zone, Eastern China. By 2012, they have basically formed the 「5+6+700」. A vertically integrated supply chain system has been formed, including the Brands、OEMs、supporting enterprises.
「5」5 major brands: HP、ACER、ASUS、TOSHIBA、CISCO.
「+6」Top 6 of global Notebook Computer OEM enterprises: Quanta、Compal、Wistron、Inventec、Foxconn、Pegatron.
「+700」720 supporting enterprises: Chicony electronics、Forcecon technology、Sinher precision etc.,.
During the Secretary of municipal party Committee Bo Xilai’s office, partial preferential policies, such as shipping subsidies to the Brands, the investment in the construction of related Taiwan′s electronics manufacturing industries’ factory and dormitory, the logistic subsidiaries to related Taiwan′s electronics manufacturing industries from Eastern China to Chongqing, had been put into effect. After his dismission, these policies still continued, which produced enormous financial burden on Chongqing government. Thus the promises of Taiwanese health care、children′s education and the subsequent life supporting measures couldn’t be implemented and improved, which made by Bo’s team. This essay mainly studies the Taiwanese living adaption to the Family living、children’s education、investment and property、 social learning.
Through the community website discussion and file Analysis, the Taiwanese and their families’ concern on the quality of live in Chongqing mainly lie on the health care quality and early children′s education.
Through investigating and photographing two Notebook Computer manufacturing company, I find distinct difference. The one in Shanghai has been cultivating there more than a decade. The Taiwanese living environment is very perfect. However, in Chongqing，the enterprises mostly rent the factories and dormitories as long as they can. They are unwilling to cultivate here for long term. This directly affects the specific investment of factory construction and living environment in dormitory, indirectly affects the employee’s living adaption.
Interviewing the Taiwanese in Chongqing, I find they are quite unsatisfied with the living environment: dissatisfied life、dissatisfied medical environment and medicine、dissatisfied diet environment 、dissatisfied children′s educational environment.
In a word, the Taiwanese life satisfaction is very poor, especially, worrying the medical care、children′s education and diet environment.
1、 Improvement from the family: The husband should have utility aid to solve the living problem of family, instead of the negative method to just send back to Taiwan.
2、 Improvement from the company: Based on the personnel cost and localization of the major cadre, they should give more care to the Taiwanese employees, positively helping and improving the adapting problems of the employees and their families.
3、 Improvement from the government: Local government should aid to implement the health care and education problem, stepping out the current politic dilemma.
