本論文研究中,我們藉由結合BSDF以及蒙地卡羅光追跡法模擬散射光在空間中的散射性質,來建立精確的光學擴散板光學模型。首先,針對擴散板數個重要的光學特性進行量測實驗,然後依所得之實驗數據在軟體中建立擴散板光學模型。搭配精準的LED光學模型後,便能夠進而建構出精準的混光腔體光學模型,並計算出混光腔體光學效率以及出光面均勻度。最後,我們將擴散板以及混光腔體的實驗數據與模擬結果做相互比較與探討,並將本研究之流程歸納為一套適用於LED背光模組薄型化的設計。In the thesis, we incorporate the BSDF distribution with Monte Carol ray tracing to simulate the characteristics of the optical diffuser plate, and therefore create a precise optical model of diffuser plate. First at all, we measure several important optical parameters of the diffuser plate, and accordingly we model the diffuser plate in a simulation program. Furthermore, based on the diffuser model and the precise LED model, we simulate the optical distribution of the backlight unit, where the optical efficiency and uniformity are simulated. Finally, we compare the experimental results with the simulation, and a process for designing a backlight unit based on LED lighting is proposed and demonstrated.
