Abstract:	環境倫理研究人與環境之倫理關係，以往多侷限在理論層面，這使得環境倫理之實踐成為一項有待突破的課題。事實上人類在生態系統中的環境實踐就在於常民的「生活方式」，要想兼顧環境倫理的理論與實踐，最好的進路就是由常民生活著手，研究相關民俗如何作用在生態環境之中，找出人與環境的良好互動關係。民俗作為特定的民間生活樣式，日積月累，對自然環境造成深遠影響。有些民俗發揮保護生態的作用，有些卻可能傷害生態環境。台灣客家族群有許多獨特的民俗傳統，蘊藏著這個族群對大自然抱持的生態觀點。本計畫擬以客家族群為對象，將研究主題設定於;Environmental Ethics research the ethical relationship between the human being and the environment, which was confined to theoretical level in the past.
