    Title: 冷拌再生瀝青混凝土應用於管線挖掘回填層之可行性研究;The Feasibility Study of Using Cold Mix Recycle Asphalt Concrete as Pipline Backfill Layer

    Abstract: 國內道路管線挖掘工程日趨平凡,因受限於施工時間短暫及複雜之程序,常常使用傳統CLSM進行回填,然而傳統CLSM之特性往往無法確實掌握,進而於管線挖掘工程完成後,因回填層之承載能力不足,導致路面下陷、坑洞及裂縫產生,甚至無預警破壞等諸多缺失,造成交通意外的產生,危害到民眾的生命財產。本研究透過國外已成熟之發泡瀝青工法作為穩定材料,藉由再生瀝青混凝土粒料結合發泡瀝青改變其工程性質,並應用於國內管線挖掘之回填層上取代傳統CLSM回填材料。由試驗結果顯示,經發泡瀝青穩定處理過後之再生瀝青混凝土粒料,其浸水殘餘強度皆符合美國馬里蘭州公路管理局所制訂之70% 以上,而馬歇爾穩定值與流度值也均符合行政院公共工程會施工綱要第02714章「瀝青處理底層」之要求,且由CBR及車轍輪跡試驗結果得知冷拌再生瀝青混凝土(Cold Mix Recycle Asphalt Concrete,CMRA)能提供路面高承載及抗車轍能力。研究發現經由發泡瀝青穩定處理過後之冷拌再生瀝青混凝土,於材料生產成本上與傳統CLSM回填材料並無明顯差異,而碳排放量則為傳統CLSM回填材料的0.4倍,其中冷拌再生瀝青混凝土可使用100% 之再生瀝青混凝土粒料作為骨料,且於生產材料之碳排放量也比傳統CLSM回填材料來的環保,因此從節能及環保的角度來看,冷拌再生瀝青混凝土在未來是具有提高工程品質及降低成本消耗之優勢。;The frequency of Taiwan pipeline excavation operations has been increased in recent years. Those operations often used traditional CLSM to backfill due to short construction time and the complexity of the program. However, the characteristics of the traditional CLSM is not easy to control. This leads to road subsidence, cracks and potholes, and even unpredictable destruction, causing traffic accidents and harms to life and property of the people due to the insufficient loading ability of backfill layer after it was completed. This study used the overseas mature foamed asphalt method as a stabilizing material, by combining the Reclaimed Asphalt Pavement (RAP) with foamed asphalt to change its physical characteristics and replaced the traditional CLSM backfill material in pipeline operations. Test results showed that the TSR of Reclaimed Asphalt Pavement stabilized by foamed asphalt met up to the standard of the Maryland State Highway Administration which is above 70%. The Marshall Stability and Flow value also met up to the requirement of Public Construction Commission Executive Yuan’s Construction Outline chapter 2714 “Asphalt Treated Base Layer”. The CBR test results indicated that Cold Mix Recycle Asphalt Concrete can provide high loading capacity and anti-rutting ability. This study also found out that the material costs of foamed cold mix recycle asphalt concrete did not differ significantly with traditional CLSM backfill material. Yet the carbon emission of foamed cold mix recycle asphalt concrete was 0.4 times that of conventional CLSM backfill material, wherein the foamed cold mix recycled asphalt concrete can use 100% of recycled asphalt concrete as aggregates. From the perspective of energy saving and environmental protection, Cold mix recycled asphalt concrete has the advantages of improving engineering quality and reducing the cost in the future.
