;This research is to develop a mold and the making procedures of mixing the plastic paste and making the solidified products by compression for sludge solidified by cementing material at a low water condition. The porosity of plastic paste is choosing as a controlled parameter, after the repetitive tests of 30 with the same mixing proportion and compressing pressure, examine the consistency and reproducibility of the specimen properties, and then making brick. The results have demonstrated the suitability of the mold and the making procedures. The research indicates that the specimen at different position of the mold have the consistent properties for the same compressing process. It is not good for the reproducibility of the pecimen properties between the different compressing processes. And the specimen quality of the upper and lower is not consistent. Using the concept of controlled porosity make the mixing design of plastic paste, the initial porosity of the specimens will be the same. The quality of specimen can be controlled by the porosity. There is a linear relationship between the ratio of the experimental and designed porosities and the ratio of the experimental and designed heights. In practical application, the height of specimen can be an examining parameter to judge whether the porosity meeting the requirements. The demanded pressure for making brick is higher than that of making plastic paste solid. There is also a positive relationship between the ratio of the experimental and designed porosities and the ratio of the experimental and designed heights. Using the concept of voids filling by paste can design the porosity of brick.
