本篇論文是以對稱的雙烯醇化合物2作為起始物,利用Sharpless不對稱環氧化反應,合成高鏡像選擇性的兩個不對稱中心。將兩鏡像化合物修飾後,經由交叉置換反應連接成主要骨架8,經多步反應包括環氧三環的開環、酯化反應、環烷化反應、氧化反應、環閉合置換反應等官能基化,成功合成天然物(+)-brevipolide H及其家族成員(+)-brevipolide G。;By way of Sharpless epoxidation of enta-1,4-dien-3-ol, both enantiomerically pure epoxides were converted to the corresponding olefins for cross metathesis. Subsequent transformations, including epoxide ring opening, esterifications,cyclopropanation, oxidation and ring-closing metathesis, provided the target molecule. This synthesis successfully addresses previous shortcomings in preparing brevipolides.
