    Title: 塑膠空氣對空氣熱交換器設計與性能測試分析;Polymer air to air heat exchanger design and performance analysis

    Abstract: 在電池箱、電信箱或電力控制箱中,常使用空氣對空氣熱交換器,並藉由外部空氣帶走由內部電子設備產生的熱量。此種空氣對空氣熱交換器多使用薄鋁片堆疊製成,內部流體與外部流體在運轉時不會接觸,僅透過鋁片進行熱交換。本研究以實驗方法探討塑膠空氣對空氣熱交換器之熱傳及壓降性能,將空氣冷卻設備常用之鰭片設計及導流設計應用在板片流道設計上。設計出逆向流式斷續型流道熱交換器及橫流式導流型流道熱交換器。

    由實驗結果顯示,逆向流式熱交換器中,塑膠斷續型熱交換器能夠有效提升熱傳性能,而且在高流量時並不會產生層紊流轉換而導致壓降驟升,橫流式熱交換器中,塑膠導流熱交換器能夠發揮導流功能,並獲得良好得熱傳性能,但是在冷、熱側風量差異較大時,熱交換器材質強度較弱或是表面支撐結構不足時,可能產生變形問題。
    本研究亦將熱交換器設計參數及實驗數據做為根據,以Visual Basic語言撰寫熱交換器設計程式,讓使用者可依據使用需求計算各熱交換器之性能。
    ;Air to air heat exchanger is generally used in the telecom equipment cabinet to dissipate the heat generated from electronic devices. These kinds of heat exchangers are commonly made of thin aluminum plates. It can separate inside and outside air flow and exchange heat between these two air streams. This study provides heat enhancement design and experimental analysis of polymer air to air heat exchangers. According to fin and deflecting plates on air cooling devices, we designed counter flow type offset strip fin and cross flow type angular channels heat exchanger.

    From the result of counter flow type heat exchanger, offset strip fin heat exchanger is able to enhance the heat transfer performance and provides lower pressure drop than aluminum plate exchanger at the high flow rate. From the result of cross flow type heat exchanger, angular channels heat exchanger provides higher heat transfer performance than other two heat exchangers. If the flow rate between cold side and hot side is unequal, it causes a deforming problem because of weaker surface structure and material strength of heat exchanger plate.
    This study also writes the heat exchanger design software on Visual Basic. It is based on experimental data and design parameters. Users can calculate the performance of different heat exchangers.
