;In dye-sensitized solar cells (DSSCs), the dye which located in absorb layer have been considered as a important role for their power conversion efficiency. In this thesis, I used the dipyridylpyrrole as my Ligand, and I modified it for longer conjugation then reacts with Zinc. Finally, I make it a suitable dye structure, and measure the optical properties. So far, there are no any reports about the metal complex of dipyridylpyrrole ligands in DSSCs. In future, the special metal complex may be a very potential dyes in DSSCs.
