    Abstract: 亞洲季風區是目前世界上人口總數和密度最高的區域,擁有乾濕季分明、旱澇事 件交替頻繁的氣候特性。瞭解亞洲季風區過去和未來降雨型態的變化趨勢,不僅是 一個有趣的科學議題,也可做為區域內各國政府評估氣象災害或農業發展的重要依 據。本計畫擬以日本APHRODITE 高解析度陸地降雨資料為基礎,配合數筆大氣與 海洋再分析資料,分析亞洲季風區『強降雨』(>90 percentile)和『極端降雨』(>99 percentile)事件在過去50 餘年來的變化趨勢,並採用常用的氣候診斷法(如:奇異 值分解法、水汽;The monsoon Asia, the most populated region on earth nowadays, has a clear wet-dry-season feature as well as frequent alternatives of drought and flood events.
