Abstract:	科學與教育計晝。其宗旨在於：1.啟發學生對環境與地球系統科學的關懷及好奇心，加強學生科學素養與學習成效；2.提供教師多元教學素材，改善其教學策略及方法；3.建立科學學習網絡，提升國内基礎科學教育的教學環境。計晝辦公室提供教材及儀器設備來增進參與學生的學習經驗，透過日常觀測，引發學生研討自身周遭環境與全球環境議題之間的關係。而老師們指導他們的學生如何利用全球科學家所訂定的儀器觀測流程協議(protocols)來蒐集資料、上傳觀測資料至GLOBE Program學生觀測資料庫，並運用這些資料;The Global Learning and Observations to Benefit the Environment (GLOBE) program is a worldwide hands-on science and education program.
