朱子為北宋理學家之集大成者，但其注〈大學〉所提出的「格物說」不僅在當時引起論辯，後世儒者對此的討論也頗多，對於格物工夫主要探求的理的涵意之討論一直未有定論。清代暨民國以來，許多儒者認為「格物致知」得以下開科學知識之先河，且能援引西方科學之精神。但到了當代，則又對此說法進行反省。本文擬將朱子格物說的當代學者詮釋區分為格道德之理，格存在之理，格不只是道德之理與存在之理三個類別，並對各類詮釋之異同作比較。藉由對比各類代表人物討論格物說的思想脈絡，來理解不同的詮釋進路；以及對比各類對相關文獻的詮釋，由以上兩種方法來看朱子格物說在詮釋上的異同，以釐清朱子格物說在當代詮釋所引發的各種詮釋下，所表現出朱子格物說之本旨。;Zhu Xi is the integrated with different opinions on Neo-Confucianism. His commentary on "Da Xue" and presented his theory of Gewu, not only caused a large number of arguments at his dynasties but also influenced a lot of discussion after that. But no final conclusion has yet been reached on this discussion what the conclusion of Theory of Gewu , the theory of Self-Cultivation. Since Qing Dynasty to Republic of China, In much Confucians opinion, The theory of Gewu Zhizhi opened an unprecedented start of scientific knowledge and could introduce the spirit of Western Sciences. But at the present day, about this doctrine, Scholars reconsidered on it. This study intends to dipartite Zhu Xi’s theory of Gewu of Contemporary study into three categories, searched for the Principle of Morals, searched for the Principle of Existence, and not just search for the Principle of Morals and the Principle of Existence. And I will compare with them. By compare with the differences between the thread of Chinese intellectual history of modern interpretations, and to comprehend the differences and similarities of various interpretations, as well as compare on the interpretations of texts. Judging from the two former methods can be seen that the differences and similarities of the modern interpretations. To clarify the various discussions of the modern interpretations of Zhu Xi’s Theory of Gewu, which begets much of discusses, and show the different purposes of them, is the main purpose of my essay.
