;With the growing of the Internet of Things(IoT) development, the industry has summarized the characteristics that the IoT should have nowadays, such as wireless, long-distance, low power consumption, and so on. Accordingly to above, the industry has implemented a number of new technologies for IoT applications, 3GPP also defined eMTC and NB-IoT as competitor in LPWAN markets. In order to pursue higher transmission rate, LTE-A proposes LAA and eLAA in Release 13 and Release 14, applies the carrier aggregation technology to aggregate licensed spectrum and unlicensed spectrum on several carrier units to achieve higher speed, is named LTE-U. The idea comes form Qualcomm, the future can dynamically allocate resources from licensed spectrum and unlicensed spectrum to LTE-IoT, LTE users and LTE-U users. This thesis is studying the scheduling algorithm in the LTE-based IoT environment. We will do preliminary scheduling and giving different weights according to the LTE-IoT, LTE users, and LTE-U users. Considering the factors of GBR, there will be occupation procedures for licensed spectrum and unlicensed spectrum to ensure the guaranteed transmission of GBR users. In order to expand the use of unlicensed spectrum to LTE-IoT devices, we use a K-means clustering algorithm to allow eMTC devices and LTE- U users are grouped and LTE-U users upload eMTC devices data. Taking into account that NB-IoT has its own channel, once if congestion occurs resulting the decrease of satisfaction, it also allows NB-IoT devices to have mechanisms to use unlicensed spectrum to increase satisfaction. |
