    Abstract: 近年來東亞地區經濟蓬勃發展、工商業活動興盛,造成化石燃料消耗速度大幅上升,使得 空氣污染物排放量增加,而大面積的地目變更與氮肥的使用也可能間接影響著土壤對於溫室 氣體的收支平衡,台灣位於西太平洋的邊陲,因季風的盛行而交替承受著來自東亞的污染外 流和東南亞生質燃燒的影響,甚至可能改變亞太地區大氣中溫室氣體的背景組成,例如CO2、 CH4、N2O等化合物;此外,後蒙特婁協議及京都議定書所規範之鹵碳化合物(halocarbons), 例如氟氯氫碳化物(hydrochlorofluorocarbons, HCFCs)以及氟氫碳化物(hydrofluorocarbons, HFCs)等物質的含量也在大氣中逐漸累積,其高吸熱的特性將強化溫室效應,這些溫室氣體濃 度的增加,將可能對於全球暖化和輻射收支,以及區域性氣候變遷造成顯著的影響。 在京都議定書和哥本哈根氣候高峰會的倡導之下,世界各國正積極訂立及實施減碳排放的 環境政策,以減緩全球暖化不斷加劇的現況,然而溫室氣體的減量成效須藉由精準的分析技 術來評估,是故,有鑒於我國溫室氣體監測技術的發展不足,本研究的目標旨在提升與建構 我國溫室氣體背景觀測之分析方法,例如CO2、CH4、N2O、halocarbons等溫室效應氣體,可 因應於長期操作觀測站之使用,以配合現今我國環境議題的需求,並建構亞太地區溫室氣體 背景監測網,探討本地區背景大氣中溫室氣體的濃度變化和成長趨勢,以及跨境長程輸送的 機制,並結合大氣演算及數值模式,探討其大氣化學組成特性。 ;The growing attention by the scientific community and general public has focused on the anthropogenic climate change as well as the rising concentration of greenhouse gases (GHGs), especially carbon dioxide in the atmosphere. In response to these environmental issues, the policymakers and their societal actions require a scientific understanding of the carbon cycle as a knowledge support for legislating and implementing adequate mandates. Meanwhile, as a result of rapid economic growth in East Asia over the past few decades, increased emissions of anthropogenic air pollutants have been transported by the Asian continental outflow, which in turn can alter the trace gas contents of Taiwan and even the Northern Hemisphere. To strengthen our understanding of this relatively pristine region receives polluted air masses via long-range transport pathways, multiple sampling locations, e.g. Lulin Atmospheric Background Station (23.47°N, 120.87°E; 2862 m a.s.l.), Dongsha Island (20.70°N, 116.73°E; 8 m a.s.l.), Mt. Bamboo, Taiping Island, and Lanyu Island, will be served to investigate the seasonalities and changes of atmospheric greenhouse gases from the perspectives of concentration variations and average levels representative at different altitudes of this region. This study aims at integrating modern monitoring techniques to construct and perform the long-term continuous measurements of the baseline greenhouse gases in the atmosphere. The characteristics and patterns of the greenhouse gases will be also carefully assessed based on intensive measurements by using the aforementioned methods to provide the regional view of the variability and long-term changes of these species in the background air.
