自從大強子對撞機有實驗數據以來,我們已發表數篇關於雙玻色子物理,尋找希格 斯粒子和新物理的論文,並且貢獻至CMS實驗團隊希格斯粒子的發現,此重要發現 使得2013年的諾貝爾物理獎頒發給五十年前提出BEH機制理論的兩位理論學家。此 三年計劃為前期三年計劃(103-2112-M-008-002-MY3)的延續,將利用大強子對撞機第 二輪的實驗數據進行物理分析,著眼於(一)尋找標準模型希格斯玻色子的稀有衰變 以及利用希格斯玻色子探索新物理、(二)雙希格斯玻色子物理分析以及(三)Preshower 偵測器的維護以及校正。 ;Since the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) started to deliver the collisions and the CMS experiment started to collect the data, my group my group published several papers on diboson physics, the search of the Higgs boson and the search of new physics. We also contributed to the discovery of the Higgs boson made by the CMS collaboration. This important discovery made two theorists who proposed the BEH mechanism fifty years ago were awarded by the Nobel Prize in Physics in 2013. This is a three-year’s proposal and considered as the continuation of our previous three-year project (103-2112-M-008-002-MY3). In this proposal, we plan to perform the physics analyses with the LHC Run-2 data and will focus on (1) the searches of SM Higgs rare decays and use the Higgs as the tool to explore the new physics, (2) the physics analysis of di-Higgs production, and (3) the maintenance and calibration of the Preshower detector.
