    Abstract: 時域天文學是天文學內其中一門非常前沿的學術研究。在這計畫內我們會利用茲威基瞬變研究中⼼(Zwicky Transient Facility,ZTF) – 現今在可見光時域天文巡天觀測上的一個領導型計畫, 來加強和擴大時域天文學在台灣的研究。ZTF將在2018年初開始利用安裝在P48望遠鏡的超大廣角CCD相機來作它的正規巡天觀測,並預定在2020年底結束。我們中央大學天文所已加入了ZTF的科學團隊,而這計劃書的目的是要使用ZTF大量的時序觀測資料來作對變星,尤其是經典脈動變星和Be星,的研究。此外,我們也會使用在鹿林天文台的望遠鏡來對有興趣的變星作後續追蹤觀測。最後,我們也會加入LSST(Large Synoptic Survey Telescope)計畫。 LSST是在ZTF之後最具主導性的大型巡天觀測計畫。我們會根據從ZTF學習到的經驗來為LSST做出準備。除了研究外,對在台灣年輕一代的天文學家(抱括碩博班生和博士後)上的培養和訓練也是這計畫書內重要的一環。通過參與ZTF和LSST讓他們能成為在時域天文學上的頂尖專家。經由參與這計畫內學到的專業技術,如機械學習,統計學和資料庫處理,將會對他們的職業生涯發展上有非常大的益助。 ;Time-domain astronomy is one of the fore-front research field in astronomy. We will utilize one of the leading time-domain optical all-sky survey project – the Zwicky Transient Facility (ZTF), to expand and enhance time-domain astronomy research in Taiwan. ZTF will begin its official operation in early 2018 until the end of 2020, using a very wide field CCD camera mounted on the P48 Telescope. Our institution has joined the ZTF consortium, therefore the aim of our Proposal is to harvest the rich time-series data taken from ZTF for variable stars research, with focus on the classical pulsating stars and Be stars. We will also use the telescopes at Lulin Observatory for performing follow-up observations of interested variable stars. Finally, we will also join the Large Synoptic Survey Telescope (LSST) Project – a large scale dominant time-domain astronomy survey project after ZTF. We will be-prepared for LSST using what we learn from ZTF. Besides research activities, another objective for our Proposal is the training of young generations of Taiwan astronomers (graduate students and post-doctoral associate) to become experts in time-domain astronomy via ZTF and LSST. Various technical skills, such as machine learning, statistics and database, that they learned will be valuable for their career development.
