Abstract:	電子郵件的最新標準發展並制定了於1992年時，新的標準稱為MIME(Multipurpose Internet Mail Extension)格式，內容除了延續RFC 822的標準外，並制定一些新的郵件訊息的編碼法則(base64及quoted-printable)，使得電子郵件傳送時能夾帶各種不同類型的訊息物件，如影像(image)、聲音(audio)…等等。然而，當初在制定MIME標準時，並未考慮到其錯誤容忍的問題，以致於當一封MIME規格之電子郵件在網路傳送過程或檔案處理時發生了錯誤，一般郵件軟體往往便無法便辦識其所含之資訊，亦無法將其所夾帶之訊息解碼還原，。本論文將針對一MIME規格郵件之標頭(Header)及訊息編碼部分，並提出一些可行之解決方法，將其因某些部分錯誤而影響整個解碼過程之問題加以改善。接著將會針對目前使用最普遍之ZIP壓縮格式，對其壓縮演算法，解碼程序及其標頭部分的錯誤處理做一探討與研究。 Research on decoding e-mail and compressed file
