    Abstract:   本篇論文中對正交多工調變訊號作一探討研究,此正交多工調變訊號分為二種基本的型式分別為正交多工正交相位調變訊號和正交多工正交振幅調變訊號,而正交多工調變訊號包含現有已存在的調變型式,如正交多分頻多工(Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing)及尚未發現的調變型式,論文中即針對正交多工調變訊號進行結合區塊與籬柵編碼的效能研究。我們在論文中提出三種編碼機制,以適用各參數之調變家族。系統中以里德-所羅門碼(Reed-Solomon Codes)和BCH碼(Bose-Chaudhuri-Hocquenghem Codes)來保護正交群組訊號,以伯利肯普演算法(Berlekamp Algorithm)來做解碼,並結合籬柵編碼(Trellis Codes)於調變訊號。在論文中不但評估經過編碼之系統其效能趨勢,並在相同或近似之頻譜效益(Spectral Efficiency)下,將未編碼與已編碼 系統做一比較,進而觀察其編碼增益(Coding Gains)。  Orthogonally Multiplexed Modulation(OMM) signals are investigated in this thesis. The research is focused on the application of the hybrid block and trellis coding of the OMM signals. In this thesis, the scheme of coded OMM systems use Reed-Solomon codes and Bose-Chaudhuri-Hocquenghem codes to protect the orthogonal group signaling and combine trellis codes with phase modulated signals and pulse amplitude modulated signals. The performance of coded OMM systems are observed by computer simulations. The coding gain comparison between uncoded and coded OMM systems is presented and discussed with near spectral efficiency.
