因應多頻多模行動通訊無線收發機的發展需求,本計畫擬於三年內,漸次完成雙頻乃至於四頻新式超小型微波被動元件設計,包括濾波器、耦合器、功率分配器等。為令所開發出之多頻帶微波被動元件具有極小的電路面積,並得以實現為晶片型式,將以吾人近年所開發的Bridged-T Coil微波被動電路設計技術出發,以三種實施策略擴充其應用,從而實現各式超小型多頻帶微波被動元件,並據以發展其應用電路,包括多頻帶波束成形模組與功率放大器等。 ;To cope with the development of multi-band multi-mode RF front end, this three-year project focuses on the development of novel multi-band microwave passive components with super compact circuit sizes, including microwave filters, couplers, and dividers. In order to enable the on-chip realization of these multi-band circuit components, the bridged-T coil-based microwave circuit design technique will be expanded such that it can be used for the realization of miniature microwave passive components that are cable of operating at several different frequencies. They will then be used for the development of miniature multi-band beamformer module and power amplifier to demonstrate the achievable performance.
