    Abstract: 隨著更高性能的處理器產品開發,液體冷卻系統未來將無法滿足高端產品應用,特別是在需要大量圖形運算的電腦工作站及伺服器,市場需要有更先進的熱管理方案。相較於液體冷卻系統,兩相蒸發冷卻具有低耗能、高熱傳性能以及低冷媒用量等優點,然而目前各國在兩相蒸發冷卻系統發展上多仍處於研究階段,並未完全商業化。本計畫預定建立一套1 kW兩相蒸發冷卻原型系統,測試其熱傳性能並發掘可能運轉問題,以為後續研究之依據。另為因應全球暖化效應,本計畫將同時使用低GWP值之HFO-1233zd冷媒為工作流體,並比較其與HFC-245fa冷媒之熱傳性能差異。預定完成工作項目包括:(1)蒸發器設計及性能測試(2)1 kW兩相蒸發冷卻原型系統建立及性能測試(3)冷媒HFC-245fa和HFO-1233zd之熱傳性能比較 ;Owing to rapid growing of high heat dissipation rate accompanied with the development of high-speed processor, the liquid cooling system will not be able to amend the thermal management of high speed work station and server computer in the near future. It is necessary to develop an advanced thermal solution. In comparing to the liquid cooling system, pumped two-phase evaporation cooling system provides the advantages of high heat transfer performance, low power consumption and low refrigerant charging amount. It is possible to replace the liquid cooling system and to be the major solution for high power electrical devices cooling systems. This project is proposed to develop a 1 KW cooling capacity pumped two-phase evaporation cooling system. Test its performance and discover its possible operation problems. The results of this project will be the bases for further studies. It is expected to complete three major tasks:(i) Evaporator design and performance test.(ii) Develop a prototype 1 kW capacity pumped two-phase evaporation cooling system.
