    Abstract: 摘要 近年來有許多關於交通事故分析之研究多以數學方法加以分 析,唯肇事事件本身兼具時空因素,致使傳統之分析方法無法明確表 示出肇事之空間關係,因此本研究應用地理資訊系統查詢、展示及其 特有之套疊、環域分析與路網分析等不同於傳統肇事的分析方式,突 顯肇事事件之時空特性,並使肇事地點的相關資訊都能充分掌握,達 到預防更甚於事後彌補的效果。 本研究引進警政署肇事資料作為歷史資料,並透過GIS 軟體設計 依行政區、交叉路口、道路查詢肇事屬性資料,以及篩選不同肇事原 因下之高肇事區域及依肇事特性搜尋出不同範圍下之高肇事路段和 路口,進而規劃肇事防範巡邏系統,以提供事故分析者簡便且多元化 之操作平台,並將隱含之肇事特性突顯出來,研究結果可作為警察機 關規劃巡邏地點與路線,以供防範肇事之運用,及提供相關單位作進 一步改善之基礎。 The numerical method is frequently adopted for traffic accident analysis in the past. Because of temporal and spatial characteristics of accident itself, the spatial relations of accidents can’t be clearly defined and demonstrated by traditional numerical analysis method. The initiative of this study is to reveal the spatial characteristics of traffic accident. GIS is consisted of spatial functions such as query, display, overlap, buffer zone and network analysis. According to that, the temporal and spatial information about accidents can be realized and prevent the recurrence of accidents. The GIS software (ArcView) is adopted in this study. The historical data is categorized by different administrative area, intersection, and roadway attributes. The causes and levels of accident can be analyzed. The results of the analysis can be the base of patrol and accident There are four major properties to describe the traffic accident in the 1. Occurrence Time: Year, Month, Day, Hour and Minute. 2. Damage Level: Crash class, Crash Type, Dead or Hurt. 3. Roadway Attributes: Roadway Type. 4. Causes of Accident: Traffic facility errors, Personal errors, Weather, The user-friendly interface is established and will be the strength for the planning of patrol and prevention for further accidents.
