    Abstract: 本研究整合「探究式學習」,針對國小高年級自然科實驗課程設計了一個自然科行動學習環境,目的在於輔助學生在實驗設計、數據蒐集、分析討論部份能夠更加的互動、多元與自主,並以數據蒐集記錄輔具(probing device)來促進探究過程中資料蒐集的方便性,以提升國小自然科實驗教學的可行性。探究式學習(Inquiry-based Learning)是一個以學生為中心的教學法,它能幫助學生在學習時綜合共通能力、知識和價值觀。在探究學習的過程中,學生是知識的主動建構者,老師是學習的促進者。本研究首先探討探究式學習的相關理論,歸納出探究式自然科行動學習環境建置的設計原則,根據設計原則來分析及設計所需的功能模組,以PDA為教學媒體,設計實作一個以探究式學習為理念的自然科行動學習環境。 自然科行動學習環境包含可支援探究式學習活動的自然實驗網以及支援離線蒐集數據、圖表分析的ELHI系統,自然實驗網主要可分為幾個部分:教材模組、實驗模組、管理模組、作業模組、評量模組;ELHI系統可分為數據模組、繪圖模組以及通訊管理模組。歸納研究結果得到的結論如下: 1. 使用PDA進行自然實驗對國小學生有正面的幫助。 2. 使用ELHI系統對國小學生進行自然實驗有正面的幫助。 3. 自然實驗網與ELHI系統對支援使用PDA和Probing Device進行國小探究式自然實驗課程有正向之結果。 In this study, we integrated inquiry-based learning to design a mobile learning environment in science education for elementary school students. The study aims to assist students in the procedures of experimental design, data collection, data analysis and discussion and to promote the convenience of data collection by using probing device. Inquiry-based learning is a student-centric pedagogy. It help students to integrate with different abilities, knowledge and ideas. First of all, theories of inquiry-based learning are studies in this paper and concluded the design principles of inquiry-based mobile learning environment. According these principles, a PDA-based mobile learning environment for science education is implemented. PDA-based mobile learning environment for science education can be dividing into two parts – Science Experiment Web and ELHI system. Science Experiment Web includes four modules: teaching material module, experiment module, management module, work module and evaluation module. Students use it on-line. ELHI system includes three modules: data module, plot module and communication module. Students use it to collect data, draw statistics plots and interact off-line. The conclusions of this study are as below: 1. Using PDA can assist student to experiment. 2. ELHI system can assist student to experiment. 3. Mobile learning environment can support inquiry-based science curriculum using PDA and probing device.
