Web服務 (Web Services) 是一項新興的技術,它將機器與機器連接起來,讓系統與系統、程式與程式之間有一個在網路上能夠跨越異質環境或平台,而能互相溝通與互動的新管道。這技術可應用在各種領域,例如可以透過Web服務技術在企業的各系統之間做整合,由於Web服務技術越來越受到各界的歡迎且成長快速,因此它的服務品質 (Quality of Service,簡稱QoS) 更形重要。由於Web服務具有動態與不可預知的特性,所以對於點對點 (End-to-End) Web服務提供服務的品質管理是一項挑戰。對不同的服務有不同的服務品質參數需要考量,例如一個股票查詢服務我們所要考量的是它的反應時間 (Response time) 與正確性 (Accuracy),而電子銀行交易系統所要考量的則是安全性 (Security),此外服務本身的效能、系統資源和下層網路所能提供的服務品質等因素也必須納入考量。本論文將提出一個針對Web服務的服務品質架構 (QoS-based architecture for Web Services,簡稱QWS),此架構在UDDI註冊中心導入服務認證與驗證的機制。並實作Web服務服務品質監測系統(QoS Monitoring System for Web Services,簡稱QMSWS),讓服務使用者透過服務品質參數的測量包括服務的反應時間、處理時間、輸出量、可靠性及可用性等,以及監測Web服務的狀態與反應時間,進而幫助服務使用者來管理Web服務的品質。 Web Services are emerging technologies that connect computers systems and applications together. It connects the machine with machine. There is one that can cross over the heterogeneous environment or the platform in the network among the system and system, program and program to let, and can communicate with each other with the interconnect new channel . This technology can be applied to various kinds of fields. For example can combine between the every systems of enterprises through Web service technology. Web service technologies are receiving more attention from the community and are growing quickly. So its Quality of Service (QoS ) is more important. Because the Web service has dynamic and unpredictable characteristic, the quality control of providing service to point-to-point Web service is a challenge.This thesis will propose a QoS-based architecture for Web Services (QWS). Mechanism that this architecture introduces certify and verity of services in UDDI registration center. And implement QoS Monitoring System for Web Services (QMSWS). Let the user via measure the QoS parameters include response time、process time、throughtput、reliability and availability etc. And monitor the state of Web service and response time , and then help to serve the quality that the user manages Web service.
