Abstract:	近年來海域的調查研究愈來愈顯得重要，這其中包含了資源探勘及最近大家很重視的風力發電及三接與藻礁的爭議等。而這些議題的根本在於對區域地質及構造特徵的了解。南海北部大陸邊緣不僅具有天然資源(石油及天然氣等)並且距離台灣很近，深入了解此區域構造特性有其必要性。南海北部大陸邊緣高磁力異常帶的成因與此區的火成活動及南海的演化皆息息相關，藉由本研究我們可獲得一些相關的資訊。
