    Title: 轉爐石再利用對再生瀝青混凝土抗車轍能力與剪切強度之影響;The Influence of Anti-rutting and Anti-shear Force of Recycled Asphalt Concrete the RAP Contain BOF Slag

    Abstract: 轉爐石擁有良好面層適用性,目前已廣泛運用於現地。然而經數年交通載重及氣候作用,這些使用轉爐石之鋪面勢必面臨重新刨鋪、養護,屆時將產生數量可觀之含轉爐石刨除料,未來這些含有轉爐石刨除料後續若應用於鋪面,是否可提供足夠服務水準仍有待商榷。本研究將於實驗室評估使用含轉爐石刨除料再生混凝土之成效,首先檢驗材料性質是否符合現行規範標準。第二階段,參考吳建宏學者配合設計結果進行大量拌合,並依美國瀝青學會配合設計手冊(AI MS-2)建議進行短期老化,最後以超級鋪面旋轉壓實機(Superpave Gyratory Compactor, SGC)壓實製作出符合規範孔隙率之成效試體。第三階段,藉由浸水殘餘強度試驗及漢堡輪跡試驗評估其耐久性成效。第四階段,檢驗使用含轉爐石刨除料之再生混凝土之抗剪切性能,設計不同剪切設體斷面進行剪切試驗(Louisiana Interlayer Shear Stress Test, LISST)。試驗結果表明,各材料均符合現行規範要求,且使用天然粒料與使用含轉爐石刨除料之瀝青混凝土試體兩者浸水殘餘強度試驗結果呈現無顯著差異。然而在使用下曲線級配時,部分瀝青混凝土試體其TSR值會有低於規範之情形,故後續使用上應注意其抗水分侵害能力;漢堡輪跡試驗結果,使用趨近級配規範帶下限者其粒料咬合性能佳,故擁有較佳抗車轍性能;剪切試驗結果顯示,使用含轉爐石刨除料組別其剪切性能下降,但仍高於R. C. West (2015) 建議之50 psi。綜合上述結果,本研究建議未來使用轉爐石刨除料應注意其級配選擇,以兼顧抗水分侵害及抗車轍性能。;The BOF slag is the very nice material for surface layer for pavement and popular adopted in field. After the couple years, the pavement contain BOF slag should be maintenance and Rehabilitation, al lot of the Reclaim Asphalt Pavement (RAP) with BOF slag would be produced. If the RAP with BOF slag was used into pavement, the pavement quality and durability should be concerned by pavement engineers. The objective of this study was evaluating the pavement performance using the RAP contained BOF slag and compared with the traditional pavement with natural aggregate. The study was separated into several parts included material test, asphalt concrete specimens’ preparation, moisture test, rutting test and Louisiana Interlayer Shear Stress Test. According to the results, all the material was satisfied the standard requirement, there were no significance difference between Asphalt concrete with nature aggregate and Asphalt concrete with the RAP contain BOF slag of Tensile Strength Ratio (TSR). If the lower gradation of recycled asphalt concrete was adopted, the TSR of asphalt concrete was sometimes lower than specification and it should be monitor. Based on the results of Hamburg wheel test, the lower gradation of Asphalt concrete was adopted, the TSR of asphalt concrete would be better. In addition, the anti-shear stress of asphalt concrete would be slight influenced using the RAP contain BOF slag, but still meet the current specification requirement. Based on above, the RAP contain BOF slag could be adopted into asphalt concrete, the property of anti-moisture, anti-rutting and anti-shear stress were good and worthy of further study.
