Abstract:	本研究使用衛星觀測資料計算格陵蘭與其他北極區域的冰河因流動而損失的質量，以及這些變化的時空間趨勢。這些新結果可讓人更加了解在全球暖化的背景下，冰河會有什麼樣的變化，以助於調查未來的全球淡水儲量與海水面上升速率等重要課題。透過此新秀學者計畫，可連結國內外的科研社群，建立首支根基於台灣、具有國際水準的冰雪圈研究團隊。我們採用的開放科學研究方法將提升地球與環境科學社群的研究效率與品質，相關的科學傳播、教育活動相信可增添高等教育與學術研究上的多樣性，提供後進者資源更豐富的研究環境。
