Abstract:	隨著電腦網路以及多媒體等相關技術迅速地發展，我們不再只是像以前一樣，從電視觀看影音娛樂，近日我們更可以透過網際網路抓取檔案，並在電腦上觀賞我們想看的多媒體內容。然而，想要將這些檔案透過家庭的娛樂系統播放，如電視，仍然是一件麻煩與複雜的事情。於是，多媒體中心的概念約於2002年逐漸浮現，它可以將個人電腦的資源與家庭中客廳的娛樂系統作一連結。先前我們在Intel OloRiver平台上開發多媒體中心已經有了一些成果，而在本篇論文之中，我們則是將焦點放在多媒體中心使用者介面的部分。為了讓使用者操作時的觀感更好，我們想要的使用者介面不論在畫面上或在操作上，都是順暢的。實作使用者介面有著幾種不同的實現方式，我們會在本篇論文呈現這幾些不同的解決方案；除此之外，亦說明我們所遭遇到的難題，以及這些難題的解決方式。最終的目的就是要實作一個友善、順暢以及現代化摩登的使用者介面給多媒體中心使用。 As technologies related to computer networks and multimedia grow rapidly, we not only receive audio and video information from television as we used to do, but getting them from the Internet as well. However, the media files from the Internet cannot be easily integrated to the TV set where we used to enjoy them. Therefore, the concept of home media center arose around year 2002. It can link personal computer resources and home entertainment together. Previously, we have had some work on developing a media center on Intel OloRiver Platform. In this paper, we would like to focus on the user interface of a media center. In order to let the user experience be better, we want the user interface to be smooth, no matter in visual or in manipulation. There are several solutions to implement the user interface. We present the solution we chose, the problems we have encountered, and how we solved them. The final goal is to make a user-friendly, smooth and modern user interface for the home media center.
