幸福感、生活滿意度的主題逐漸在社會研究中獲得重視，國際上也逐漸以國民幸福、生活滿意度做為國家發展的指標之一。而台灣現代女性除了需分擔家中經濟外，更須負起處理家務事、照顧子女的重責大任。女性在工作與家庭的壓力已經不亞於男性的壓力，且進而影響其對生活滿意、婚姻關係或是家庭生活，甚至會對整個家庭的生活品質造成影響，因此本研究將要探究影響女性生活滿意度、家庭生活滿意度與經濟滿意度的影響因素為何。
本研究使用民國104年度「婦女生活狀況調查」為研究資源，以女性整體的生活滿意度、家庭生活與經濟滿意度為被解釋變數，並採用Order Probit Model 作為實證模型。本研究結果發現，隨著年齡、教育程度與收入的增長，對於生活滿意度、家庭生活或經濟滿意度有顯著正向的影響，顯示年長者、高教育者或是高收入者的滿足程度較高。在就業、經濟方面，女性有工作會有較低的生活滿意、家庭生活或經濟滿意程度，而當配偶有工作則會有較滿意的傾向。在婚育與家庭中，未婚女性無論在生活滿意、家庭生活或經濟滿意的感受均不如已婚的女性。此外，本研究進一步依女性的教育程度與收入不同的情況下，發現對於女性三種滿意度之程度產生明顯的差異，這表示社經地位的階層亦存在於生活滿意度中。透過實證模型發現，女性提升本身的學歷且增加所得收入，則有助於增加對生活的正向感受，也能真正增加生活滿意度、家庭生活與經濟滿意度。

Happiness and life satisfaction have been increasingly important in social research and become one of the indicators of national development. We find that Taiwanese females not only have to ease financial strain of the family, but also be responsible for the housework and take care of children. The pressure of work and family on females is no less than that on males. It may affect their satisfaction with life, marriage or family life and even have a huge impact on the life quality of the entire family. This essay will explore what factors truly affect the life satisfaction of females.
This essay investigated using the 2015 Women′s Living Condition Survey in Taiwan. The ordered probit model was applied to conduct the analysis for females’ life satisfaction, satisfaction of family life and satisfaction of economy. The result indicates that females’ life satisfaction, satisfaction of family life and satisfaction of economy increases with age, years of schooling and income. Females are not as happy when they have jobs; however, they are happier if their husbands have jobs. Single, divorced or widowed females are significantly less satisfied with their lives, family lives and economy than the married ones. In addition, this essay further shows that females’ life satisfaction varies widely according to different academic degrees and incomes. This means that people from different social classes feel different levels of life satisfaction. With our empirical models, it is found that females who improve their education and increase their income may lead a happier life and truly increase life satisfaction.
