摘要(英) This study focused on the effects of background music and visual distractions on cognitive task performance, emotions, and concentration. The experiment recruited 114 as participants. The subjects will perform memory tasks, reading tasks, and image reasoning tasks in three music conditions: without background music, high arousal emotional music, and low arousal emotional music, as well as no visual interference, and two conditions with visual interference. The experimental data were analyzed by ANOVA with SPSS 21 statistical software to understand whether the task performance of each group was different under different background music and visual interference conditions. The experimental analysis results are as follows:
1.Different background music conditions and visual interference conditions have significant effects on memory tasks and reading speed 2.
2.Compared with no background music and high arousal emotional music, the memory task performance under the condition of low arousal emotional music is the best; compared with high and low arousal emotional music, the reading speed 2 without background music has the best performance.
3.High arousal emotional music increases the subjects′ positive emotional scores, while low arousal emotional music increases the subjects′ negative emotional scores.
4.Visual distractions affect task focus more than background music.
According to the research results, relevant suggestions are put forward, which can be used as a reference for future research in the fields of background music, cognitive task performance, emotion, and concentration.
