    Title: 台灣北部金瓜石至頭城金面山間地區地電探查(II);Geoelectric Survey between Chinmienshan and Chinkuashih, NE Taiwan (II)

    Abstract: 金面山的鉛鋅石英脈因興建北宜高速公路,於坪林隧道探查導坑中意外被發現,金面山礦脈生成的 大地構造背景與鄰近金瓜石金銅礦床極類似。金瓜石的礦化作用源自於島弧安山岩的入侵,因而金 面山地區的礦化作用極可能和火成岩的侵入有關。為驗證金面山下是否存在潛伏安山岩體?其是否 與金瓜石相連?以及可能之礦化帶位置,而提議本研究計畫。第一年已完成金面山以北至金瓜石以 南地區之深部地電初勘,採目前世界各地在礦區深測所慣用之AMT(音頻大地電磁法)施測,經由 涵蓋台灣東北角的95個AMT測點涵蓋面積約500平方公里資料分析結果顯示在標高 -0.1至 -2 km間, 測區之電阻率分布呈現北低而南的分布型態,金瓜石位於北方低區,而金面山位南方高區,金面山 的電性構造是金瓜石構造向南延伸的結果;當標高持續下降至 -3.0至 -8.0 km時,金面山北側發現西 北-東南走向的低電阻異常帶,磁力深查結果,亦發現呈現高磁力異常,推斷可能係深部侵入火成 岩體所造成的低電阻異常,為金面山區域最有利之成礦地區。第二年探勘工作將以此地區為目標, 採用AMT精測 (因AMT在地形起伏劇烈,高電磁雜訊礦區已証實可行),測點間距應小於 50 m, 重點 在 1 KM 以上淺部,預計完成50個測點,工作項目主要包括測區相關文獻資料之收集,AMT測勘、 資料處理、分析和三維解釋,同時視須要配合IP (Induced Polarization) 施測,直接探礦,藉以定出可能 的礦化構造。 Sulphite quartz veins were discovered unexpectedly during the excavation of a prospective tunnel in the construction of the Taipei-Ilan Expressway. The geotectonic background of this hydrothermal lead-zinc quartz veins is very similar to the nearly Chinkuashih gold-copper deposits 25 km north-northeastward. In order to investigate this potential area, CGS proposes conducting geophysical study to obtain reliable information about underground structure.The main purpose of this project is to confirm if there exists any linkage between the Chinmienshan lead-zinc sulphide-containing veins and the nearby renowned Chinkuashih gold-copper deposits situated only 25 km to the north. This may be delineated with geoelectric data collected by deep electromagnetic method-AMT or CSAMT. Meanwhile, the regiona l geology of the survey area can thus be evaluated based on this electromagnetic survey in corporated with known geologic constrain.More than 50 AMT soundings will be conducted for reconnaissance survey covering an area of about 500 km2 in the first fiscal year, and then flows up detailed survey in the anomalous areas with AMT soundings no less than 50 in the second fiscal yea. The result will be displayed in depth slices and profiles. Methodologies applied in the project include regional geology review, AMT or CSAMT prospecting, data processing and 3D interpretation. Based on this geoelectric results the subsurface geologic features as well as the possible mining deposits of the survey area can be evaluated. 研究領域:8810 ~ 8910
