本計畫將研究一些流體與軟物質中重要的物理現象,特別著重在複雜的平衡結構與動力行為.預計研究的課題有 (1)由理論與實驗上來研究二維偶極粒子的聚集行為, (2)由實驗上探討在肥皂膜中流場所引發的物體自發旋轉現象,(3)由理論上探討在顆粒子系統中由非彈性碰撞引發相分離的可能性。In this project we propose to study some of the interesting physics in fluid and soft matter systems. Particularly interested are those showing complex equilibrium morphology and dynamics. Specifically we will study (1) the aggregration of uniaxial dipolar particles both experimentally and theoretically; (2) the autorotation in two-dimensional soap film fluid dynamics experimentally; and (3) theoretically the separation induced by inelastic collisions in binary mixtures of granular particles. 研究期間:9608 ~ 9707
