故事的生命,在敘說中被清楚地傳遞、感受,並理解。傾聽一位大學優良教師的生命故事,什麼樣貌是被期待的?面對社會的高期許,大學教師擔負了三種不同的職責:研究、教學,與服務,在三者之間的選擇,依投入與參與的多寡,可以看見不同大學教師的豐富樣貌;而在選擇間所湧現的,便是教師們生命意義的看待與實踐。我所書寫的故事,是一位大學優良教師—孫維新老師(對我而言,他是Sun)生命中有關教育實踐的故事,在故事中,可以清楚地瞧見Sun選擇往推廣科學普及教育的路上,不斷地走去;對Sun而言,他所選擇的是一個能夠影響更多人的路,且是對的事,更是對自己負責的事。在這樣的表態裡,看見了Sun對生命意義的尋求以及教育實踐的堅持,他有一點雄心想要挑戰自己喜歡做的事,有一點壯志想要影響更多人;於是,在這個故事中,將會看見的是Sun所給出的一個不同的大學教師之樣貌,以及在Sun追求生命意義之時,所呈現出的一個不一樣的姿勢與方向。 In narrative, a story about life is transited, perceived, and comprehended. What image is presented about an excellent teacher in higher education? Under high expectation of society, the college teachers have three main duties: teaching, scholarship, and service. Different teachers have different choices among them. So we can see ample educational practice stories of teachers. This narrative is a story about an excellent teacher, Dr. Sun Wei-Hsin, practices education in life. Sun has three main thoughts: aim high and challenge myself, explore the essence, and be influential. In such declaring showed that Sun pursues the meaning of life and persists in the value of education practice. Consequently, this story will give us a new look of college teachers, and present a different position and way.
