    Abstract: 由於全球氣候問題與化石能源消耗關聯性的討論,使得化石燃料的應用被重新考量,特別是主要能源來源多樣化的目標,開啟了新的研究領域-如氫經濟(Hydrogen Economy),而氫燃燒和燃料電池均是氫經濟中用氫的重點項目。未來我國將面臨能源短缺的國際問題,以及全球氣候變遷中之溫室氣體減量(如減少CO2排放)的國際壓力,尤其是京都議定書已於2005年2月16日開始實施,CO2限量的國際壓力將會與日俱增,是故高效率含碳潔淨能源科技及無碳新能源(如氫燃燒)技術的研發,是我國所迫切需要的。本計畫針對具有節能與CO2減量成效之潔淨燃燒技術開發(含氫燃燒),提出一三年期計畫,採用貧油預混紊流燃燒技術,配合新開發之加氫燃燒技術和熱再循環觸媒燃燒,全力研發潔淨燃燒技術和氫(無碳)燃燒技術。三個年度相關研究重點及工作項目分別為:(1)開發加氫潔淨燃燒技術;(2)實作設計出一小型可攜式氫能觸媒熱電產生器;和(3)研究高壓條件下預混紊流燃燒之引燃、火焰傳播及火焰熄滅機制,並實作設計出一氫燃燒器(可應用於諸如質子交換膜燃料電池陽極尾氣之處理)。潔淨燃燒技術攸關著人類健康安全和有效節約主要能源(愛惜善用化石燃料),而氫能利用是未來新能源策略的選擇之一,故本計畫所擬發展之潔淨燃燒技術,將有助改善台灣所面臨之能源挑戰:如改善高達98%的能源進口依賴度、降低污染排放和減少或抑制過量的二氧化碳排放等重要問題。本計畫自我評估:本計畫擬開發前瞻燃燒技術,即氫燃燒、高壓預混紊流燃燒和小型可攜式氫能觸媒熱電產生器等技術,應是一具學術價值和有應用潛力的計畫,且相當具有挑戰性。主持人在國科會多年補助下,實驗室已建構可執行本計畫所需絕大部分相關之實驗平台和量測設備,資料統計分析方法亦已具備,計畫成功的可能性應相當高。主持人及所指導之碩博士研究生們將全力以赴,以作出領先國際相關研究成果為本計畫之目標。 The great concern of global climate changes has led to reconsideration of the use of fossil fuels. Especially, the goal for the diversification of the primary energy sources has opened new fields for research and development, such as hydrogen economy. Hydrogen combustion and fuel cells are the keys for the hydrogen usage in hydrogen economy. In the near future (most likely near 2012), Taiwan will face the worldwide problem of energy shortage and the international pressure on reducing greenhouse gas (CO2) emissions, since the Kyoto Protocol has become effective on 16th of February, 2005. Thus, the development of high-efficient carbon-clean energy technology and carbon-free new energy technology (e.g. hydrogen combustion) is essential for our country. This three-year proposal, having potential advantages of saving energy and CO2 reduction, aims to develop new technologies for clean combustion methods and hydrogen combustion (carbon-free) technology. Three relevant but independent research topics and working items, in the order of the proposal year, are respectively (1) the development of clean natural gas combustion with hydrogen addition technology, (2) the establishment of a small portable hydrogen catalytic thermoelectric power generator, and (3) experimental studies on mechanisms of high-pressure premixed turbulent combustion from ignition to flame propagation to flame quenching and design a hydrogen burner which could be used to handle such as the rear gases (mainly H2) from the anode of PEMFC. The proposed clean combustion technology is important because it has great potential to improve several challenging energy problems in Taiwan, such as for instances, for helping to decrease the extremely high dependence on petroleum imports, to improve air quality, and to reduce excessive greenhouse gas (CO2) emissions. 研究期間:9908 ~ 10007
