    Abstract: 本計畫為目前正執行中的第一年計劃(計畫編號99-2221-E-008-063-)的第二年和第三年後續計畫。本計畫也是與日本京都大學防災研究所的澤田教授與高橋副教授所領導的團隊的合作計畫。橋樑為重要的維生線,在過去的大地震中,常常會發現如果橋樑受損,不但影響救災工作的進行,更會造成許多直接與間接的經濟損失,因此如何確保橋樑在大地震中不損壞是地震工程與防災的一個非常重要的課題。雖然擬動態試驗法可以對無法在震動台上進行試驗的過大、過重和過強的試體進行受震反應的研究,但無法涵蓋土壤結構互制的效應,但是地工離心機的出現,讓利用小模型以探討土壤結構互制的效應成為可能。本計畫首先結合網際網路以京都大學和中央大學為對象,發展出可以在地工離心機內進行土壤結構互制效應的擬動態試驗技術與架構,並以此技術與架構探討單一橋墩基礎的受震反應,以彌補過去僅進行橋墩本身的受震反應之不足。目前全世界並沒有類似的研究案在進行,如果能成功,將會對離心模型試驗技術有更進一步的提升,也將會提昇我國在離心模擬試驗的學術地位。此一模式將來也可在國內推廣,有助於國內各校間實驗設備的共享。另一方面,本研究所探討的單一橋墩基礎的受震反應,其結果將有助於闡明土壤結構互制效應對橋墩受震反應的影響,我們期望能根據三年研究成果提出適合的橋墩基礎耐震設計建議。This proposal is for continuing the current research project “Investigation on Seismic Behavior of Single Pier Foundations Using Geotechnical Centrifuge and Internet Pseudodynamic Test” supported by National Science Council under the Grant No. 99-2221-E-008-063-. This project is an joint research between me and the research team led by Prof. Sawada and Associate Professor Takahashi of Disaster Prevention Research Institute of Kyoto University. Bridge is an important lifeline. There have been many reports of bridge failure due to past large earthquakes which not only hindered the rescue operation but also caused many direct and indirect economic losses. As a result, preventing the bridge from damage caused by large earthquake is an important task for earthquake disaster mitigation. Although the pseudodynamic test can be used to examine the seismic behavior of too massive, large and strong structures, it can not include the soil-structure interaction effect. On the other hand, the advent of geotechnical centrifuge makes the study of soil-structure interaction effect possible using small scale models. In this study the technique for performing the pseudodynamcic test in geotechnical centrifuge through the internet between NCU and Kyoto University will be developed first which will then be used to investigate the seismic behavior of pier foundations. As we know, this has not been attempted in the world currently as of now and its success will contribute to the enhancement of geotechnical centrifuge technology and the academic level of Taiwan in the field of geotechnical centrifuge experiment. The developed technique can also be applied in Taiwan to opening the way for the sharing of research facilities among many universities. The results obtained from the study on seismic behavior of pier foundations may help clarify the effect of soil structure interaction and recommendations on the seismic design of pier foundation may be made. 研究期間:10008 ~ 10107
