Poly(vinylidene fluoride) (PVDF) and polyethylene glycol (PEG) were dissolved in N,N-dimethylactamide. The mixture was homogeneous and the concentration of PEG was varied. The mixture was coated on the glass plates, which had a primer made of acrylic resin, to form films. It was found that the surface property of the films varied with the concentration of PEG. In this study, the hydrophobicity of PVDF films was improved by changing the morphology of the surface of the films.
