自工業革命以來,舉凡所有的家電用品、電子通訊產品或是汽車面板等,都與印刷電路板習習相關。近年隨著智慧型電子通訊產品蓬勃發展,使得印刷電路板製造業成長更為快速,對我國經濟發展有很大貢獻。由於PCB業製程複雜,使用多種化學藥劑及特殊原料,因此排放廢水、廢液及廢棄物之種類繁多。 以企業之運作角度,廢棄物要以廠內自行處理方式或是委託廠商處理,端視國內外市場上之廢棄物之回收處理技術、設備應用成本或是廢棄物於廢棄物處理/再利用市場之價值等與企業主之成本管控期待相呼應之結果;其中主要影響廢棄物產出價值之關鍵除市場價格外,即為製程廢棄物產出之質如成分、濃度、含量和量如重量、體積量,因此欲維持合理之回收價值,則首要之務即進行製程廢棄物合理產出質、量管控。 本研究以某印刷電路板廠商為對象,規劃設計一套電腦化廢棄物產出管理系統,有別於一般從管末進行統計管理之模式,改結合廢棄物回收作業流程,從產源端產出至廢棄物收受端層層記錄管控,並透過系統合理量管控設定,自動回饋異常訊息予製造/製程部門及環工部門,確保廢棄物產出量及回收量間之平衡;此外,進一步於研究中導入統計製程管制手法於鈀廢液回收濃度管控,找到導致回收濃度偏低之幾項關鍵因素,並進行管理方法回修,並使鈀廢液回收濃度大幅提昇。The EU RoHS directive limits the presence of six hazardous substances such as lead and cadium in electrical and electronics equipment. This requirement forced modern electronics gadget manufacturers and their components suppliers such as printed circuit board to search for alternative plating materials. Gold and silver plating is indeed electrically superior to the hazardous substances but they greatly impact printed circuit board manufacturing costs. Palladium is less expensive than gold and silver but has excellent electrical characteristics. Since palladium is a precious metal, it is economical to recover palladium from the process waste.This study examines the performance and features of a computerized waste palladium solution recovery system of a printed circuit board manufacturer with the palladium process. The computerized system is designed based on the principles of material flow and statistical process control. It is composed of process baseline data, process waste data, process waste management, and statistical data and diagram generation modules. The computerized system monitors the operating conditions of the Plated-Through-Hole process and alerts operators of any off the upper-and-lower limit situations. Although the actual operating conditions adjustments are made off-line by the operators, maximum recovery of palladium from the waste solution is achieved.
