    摘要: 台北是台灣的政經中心,由於其地質構造為一沈積盆地,地震所引發的強地動受盆地內的場址特性所控制,震波放大效應曾造成多次地震災害,例如921 集集地震和331 地震。隨著地震觀測系統的進步及相關地質資料齊備,台北盆地成為研究盆地內場址效應及地震波形模擬的最佳地點。本研究將針對台北盆地之地動特性作一系列的深入研究與探討,包括(1)觀測資料之分析與(2)數值模擬二個步驟。第一項包含TSMIP 之地動記錄與密集微地動量測資料,第二項則根據盆地內之地質與地工資料建立模型並發展二維及三維模擬。本研究主要目標有(1)由二維、三維模擬瞭解台北盆地效應,(2)由密集微地動量測研判大比例尺之場址效應,(3)將觀測與模擬記綠比對與分析,以釐清二維及三維模擬之優缺點,(4)探討此結果於危害度分析之應用性。最後希望此盆地效應之研究方法及成果可轉移至其他資料缺乏之地區。 ; Taipei is the capital of Taiwan, located in a sediment-filled basin, and experienced several damaging earthquakes in the past decades, the recent of which occurred on September 21, 1999 and March 31, 2002. Earthquake ground motion shows large variation within the basin, dependent on the geotechnical properties at the site, the location of the site within the basin, and the parameters of the earthquake. With a comprehensive data base of observed accelerograms, geotechnical parameters, and information on basin geometry, the Taipei basin represents one of the best examples in the world where basin and site effects for earthquakes can be studied. We intend to perform analysis of the Taipei basin response on earthquake ground motion using two approaches: (1) study of observation data and (2) numerical modeling. The first approach will utilize numerous records of various earthquakes obtained during implementation of Taiwan Strong Motion Instrumentation Program (TSMIP), and dense microtremor survey. The second approach is based on geological and geotechnical information collected recently for the basin, as well as on the developed techniques of 2D and 3D modeling. The main goals of the proposed research are: (1) understanding of the Taipei basin response by 2D-3D elastic modeling; (2) dense microtremor survey for the detail site effect; (3) comparison of computational results with the many instrumental records including the analysis of advantages and limitations of the 2D-3D modeling; (4) incorporation of the results into hazard assessment procedures. The results of site-dependent ground motion estimates for the Taipei basin will be analyzed. The insight into the influence of wave propagation in a relatively small sedimentary basin on ground motion characteristics should be transferable to comparable regions with a less developed data base. ; 研究期間 9708 ~ 9807
