    Title: 參與日本高能實驗室「B介子工廠實驗」國際合作研究(XIII)---在Belle實驗中三體終態之研究-探討真空(II)---子計畫四

    Abstract: 本計逐年深入探討量子色動力學中膠子如何真空產生夸克,進而形成粒子的過程。期望數年之後能直接探索真空的本質。物理分析仍以三體終態為研究之題,如e + e −→D D, rr→ ーπ + KSK , rr→ ΛPK +或rr→PPπ 0但偏向四夸克或五夸克態之探討。中大主導之Belle grid 已建成,與gLite 通用,現擴大Belle VO 建立及平順運行,以前與未來Super B 所需之grid 架構術接。 ; Hadron pair production mechanism has been the main theme of our studies in the past years. The related theoretical QCD calculations at low energy region are not adequately improved to scope the progresses made by experimentalists. Owning to the huge amount of data generated by Belle experiment, there is a big break through in hadron pair productions in the photon collisions. A similar transition in angular distributions of γγ →π +π −、γγ → K +K −、0 0 S S γγ → K K and γγ → pp has been observed in Belle data. The similarity might hint a general behavior at fundamental level. This also intrigues theoretical physicists to turn their attention to angular distributions (ref. 1), because it could reveal contributions from different processes. Therefore, they might have chance to understand the behavior at low energy region. The positive response from theoretical side encourages our continuous studies on low energy QCD. There are three topics in this year proposal: (1) γγ → ΛΛ / Σ0Σ0 and (2) e+e− →γ * →cc → D*+D*− + X 。γγ → ΛΛ / Σ0Σ0 is a continuation of γγ → pp . Its main physics is to find out the roles of isospin and species of quarks play in baryon pair productions in the two photon collisions. X’s in process (2) is a tool to study behavior of gluons. We expect to spend a three year time to perform a thorough and systematic studies on e+e− →γ * →cc → D*+D*− + X and its similar processes. The goal is to clarify how gluon(s) turn into meson(s) at low energy in the light of QCD. Keyword: QCD, e+e- annihilation, two photon collision ; 研究期間 9708 ~ 9807
