    Abstract: 本論文主要目的是使用經驗模態分解法(Empirical Mode Decomposition, EMD)分析齒輪嚙合之傳動誤差,得到齒形誤差、節距誤差與偏擺,並由分析結果定義齒輪精度。首先使用齒面接觸分析(Tooth Contact Analysis, TCA)模擬齒輪嚙合之傳動誤差數據,再以EMD分析其數據,其分析結果與原始設定值非常接近。
    實驗的部分則是使用泛用型齒輪嚙合測試機量測齒輪之傳動誤差訊號,利用EMD、濾波法與反傅立葉轉換分解其訊號得到齒形誤差、節距誤差與偏擺,再與三次元齒輪量測儀所量測之結果比對,結果顯示EMD之分析結果與量測值接近,並可由分析之結果定義齒輪之精度。除了單齒腹測試,本論文另外進行齒輪嚙合之振動檢測,初步探討齒輪在含有誤差時其振動訊號之變化。
    The main purpose of this thesis is to analyze the transmission error (TE) by using empirical mode decomposition (EMD). By using EMD, profile errors, pitch errors and runout were calculated, and the precision of a gear was defined. Here, tooth contact analysis (TCA) was used to simulate the TE of a modified spur gear pair. EMD was applied to decompose the TE, and the errors of the gear were calculated. The calculated results were compared with the set value of TCA.
    In experiment of aspect, the experimental signals of TE were obtained from single flank tests. Similarly, profile errors, pitch errors and runout were evaluated by EMD. In addition, the results determined by EMD were compared with those from CNC gear measurement machine. Moreover, Filters and fast fourier transform (FFT) were also utilized to analyze the experimental signals of TE. The results analyzed by EMD, Filters and FFT, were compared and the results determined by EMD was closer to those from gear measurement machine. Therefore, the precision of a gear could be defined by the results.
    Finally, we analyzed the signals of vibration and discussed the relationships among the precision of gears, TE, and the signals of vibration.
