研究期間:10301~10312;In this project, we are going to design a spectrum-dividing device for solar energy application. The sun radiates light across a broad range of the electromagnetic spectrum. Unfortunately, the common Si solar cells, can only convert the light within the spectrum range of 300 nm ~ 1100 nm into the electric power. Moreover, the infrared light will heat solar cell and decrease the converting efficiency. In order to enhance the conversion efficiency of the solar cell, the spectrum-dividing device is proposed herein. We would like to use the diffraction grating as the solar spectrum-dividing device. The parameters of the diffraction grating for spectrum-dividing will be designed by the commercial software, G-solver. The property of the designed grating is also simulated and analyzed by G-solver. Finally, the diffraction grating will be created by the photolithography and be tested in the laboratory.
