Abstract:	PCB 素有電子產業之母的美名，台灣地區經歷了四十幾年的發展，印刷電路板產業已自成一完整供應鏈體系，但，近年來台灣PCB產業因過度集中通訊市場、資本轉移大陸等等瓶頸因素，面臨相當大的挑戰，為求突破瓶頸，PCB廠商需擬訂有效方向才能改善其經營績效。本研究以產業經濟學的結構－行為－績效理論為架構，探討印刷電路板產業之基本條件、市場結構、廠商行為及營運績效之相互關係以及如何受到政府政策對產業的影響。分析與探討目前全球各國PCB產業的發展，最後給于台灣PCB產業未來方向建議，總結如下：台灣PCB廠商未來方向：除須持續創新，朝技術領先方向努力外，生產的產品類別也須加快轉型結構之調整，如汽車板、通訊用軟板、半導體高階IC載板。如此才有競爭力。 ;PCBis known asthe motherofthe electronics industryreputation, Taiwanhas experiencedfortyyears of development,printed circuitboardindustry hasself-containedcomplete supplychain system,but, in recentyears,Taiwan′sPCBindustrydue toexcessivefocus onthe communications market, capital transfersMainland China, etc. bottlenecks, facingconsiderable challenges, for the sake ofbreaking the bottleneck, PCB manufacturersneed todevelop effectivedirectiontoimprove theirbusiness performance. In this study,the structure ofindustrial economics-conduct - performancetheoryframeworkto explore thebasic conditions forthe printed circuitboardindustry, the relationship betweenmarket structure,market conductandoperating performanceas well asthe impactsof government policies onthe industry.Analysis and discussion ofthe current development ofcountries inthe globalPCBindustry, and finally giverecommendationson the futuredirection ofTaiwan′sPCBindustry, are summarized as follows: PCB manufacturersin Taiwan′s future direction: in addition tocontinuous innovation,leading technologydirectiontoward theeffort, the production ofproduct categoriesshould alsoaccelerate thestructureadjustment and transformation, such as automobilepanels,communicationspanelswith a soft, high-endsemiconductorIC substrate.
