Abstract:	汞具有高毒性，汞被世界衛生組織列為十大危害人體健康化學物質之一，它會釋放到大氣、土壤、河川與海洋之中，極易經由食物鏈尤其是海鮮進入人體。汞中毒會造成腦部、神經系統、心血管、消化器官與免疫系統損壞，也會導致腎臟與肺臟功能衰竭，最嚴重會讓人喪生。汞尤其會對胎兒與發展早期的嬰兒造成重大的危害。長期過量接觸汞，有可能會造成能導致胃腸道出血與潰瘍、神經系統、腎臟功能損害、產生皮疹和皮炎，另外也會造成情緒波動、記憶力減退、精神障礙和肌肉無力(USEPA, 2013)。因此對於環境中汞污染的整治一直是環境復育的前瞻;Mercury is reported as highly toxic. Exposure to mercury may lead to dysfunction of kidney, memory loss, irrigation, skin disease.
