Abstract:	過去提及桃園縣客家族群主要分布的區域，大多認為是南桃園的觀音鄉、新屋鄉、楊梅市、中壢市、平鎮市、龍潭鄉六個鄉鎮市，但2011年公布的「客家文化重點發展區」新增「大園鄉」共七個鄉鎮市。當大園鄉列為客家文化重點發展區後，關於「大園鄉有客家人嗎？」、「大園鄉還保留有客家文化嗎？」的質疑從未間斷。因此，本計畫透過相關史料文獻、田野調查與訪談，嘗試描繪大園鄉客家族群的圖像。族群文化與認同是一種持續轉變的過程，總在不同的社會、歷史、政治、經濟脈絡下不斷混合、對話、重整與再建構；重新檢視客家文化重點發展區政策，是否讓原;Hakka people in Taoyuan county have been wildly recognized that mainly gathered in the region of "South Taoyuan" , which includes the six cities of Zhongli City, Pingzhen City, Yangmei City, Longtan Township, Guanyin Township and Xinwu Township.
