    Abstract: 能提供更高傳輸速率以及降低錯誤率,已成為下一代行動通訊技術之普遍需求。因應4G行動通訊的來臨,專家學者們已將多載波調變(Multi-Carrier Modulation, MCM)技術以及多天線技術視為能夠符合此需求的標準規格,因此MIMO-OFDM將會是最適合的技術。 本論文依據IEEE 802.16 規格,模擬兩發射一接收天線與兩發射兩接收天線的MIMO-OFDM系統,並以 Verilog 設計其通道估測及等化器的硬體架構。 在本論文中,系統採用 STBC 編解碼,而最後整體系統經由電腦模擬結果顯示,所模擬之MIMO-OFDM 系統相較於傳統之單一天線收發的 OFDM 系統,在提高系統效能及降低錯誤率方面有顯著之提升。 To provide higher transmission rate and lower error rate is essential requirement for the next generation mobile communication technology. For 4G mobile communications, experts and scholars think Multi-Carrier Modulation (MCM) and multi antenna technologies as the standard specification to meet this requirement. Therefore, MIMO-OFDM will be the most promising technology. In this thesis, according to the IEEE 802.16 specification, we investigate 2ISO and 2I2O MIMO-OFDM systems and implement the hardware structure of the channel estimation by verilog. The system under consideration uses STBC encoding and decoding. The computer simulation results show that the simulated MIMO-OFDM system obviously outperforms traditional single antenna OFDM systems in terms of error rates.
