    Abstract: 本研究針對橢圓形鋼板消能器進行鋼構架耐震性能之探討,橢圓形鋼板消能器為一經過最佳化斷面設計之金屬降伏型消能器,此金屬降伏型消能器可以提供結構有效的消能行為。將此橢圓形鋼板消能器搭配同心斜撐設置於抗彎構架當中,能有效提高結構強度以及消能容量。
    本研究針對不同尺寸之橢圓形鋼板消能器進行試驗測試,為確保試驗之準確性,本研究亦針對橢圓形鋼板消能器藉由有限元素分析軟體進行性能分析。橢圓形鋼板消能器之構件試驗結果顯示,改變橢圓形鋼板消能器之偏心距與斷面深度將會大幅影響其消能器之性能。配置不同橢圓形鋼板消能器之斜撐抗彎構架也將影響構架之強度、勁度以及消能容量,經過一系列之實驗測試得知將橢圓形鋼板消能器應用於結構設計當中為一可行且有效之設計。
    ;In this thesis, a new type of metallic yielding damper is introduced and investigated, called oval plate dampers. The oval plate dampers are cut from steel plate following optimum geometry. This metallic yielding energy dissipation device is not only aesthetic but also efficiently functional when it comes to seismic behavior. In fact, with the concept of plastic zone and eccentric behavior, this device can enhance the structure strength and energy dissipation when located in concentric brace position.
    To verify the proposed damper design, a series of cyclic loading was applied in numerical finite element simulating and experimental. Component tests with various damper dimensions showed that the capacity of oval plate damper could be strongly change by modify the damper eccentricity magnitude and depth. It was also verified the significant performant improvement in term of strength, stiffness and energy dissipation of structure in frame test with proposed device inside. Therefore, the oval plate damper would be a potential alternative for earthquake-resistant structural designs.
