Abstract:	歷來學者對初唐釋玄應《大唐眾經音義》的討論，多半側重於體例內容、版本流傳、古籍整理、辭書編纂，或佛經詞彙內涵、語音現象等文化史研究，多屬文獻材料或佛經語言之相關研究。清代《說文》研究極為蓬勃，有「家有洨長之書，人習《說文》之學」的盛況。本計畫擬將玄應《眾經音義》與清代《說文》學與作緊密結合，實地考察，對文本資料進行深入探討及論述。除了突顯《眾經音義》一書在清代《說文》學的學術價值及特殊的時代意義外，同時也為《說文》學、文字訓詁學研究開創新視角，提供更寬廣的視野。
